Studio Lighting
With Studio Lighting there are six different types we learned in class. Short, Broad, Rembrant. Split, Butterfly and Loop lighting.
Short-Light illuminates on the side of the face that is turned toward the opposite side of the camera.
Broad- Light brightens the side of the face that is toward the camera.
Rembrant-Light source is higher and either on the right or left side of the face.
Split- Half light half shadow on the face.
Butterfly- Light is placed directly in front of the person.
Loop-There is a loop shape under the nose, the light source is again in front of the face.
